Why is there still no bi-directional connection to HMRC for collecting Tax code changes? Cheaper Payroll Software has this and even Xero Payroll does it and that is the worst one I've ever used. Having to login to HMRC and check for code changes is a bit last century and wastes all the time saved when using Payroll. I couldn't believe it when I moved all my clients over that it didn't already do it!

We are pleased to announce the recent release of the HMRC Notices feature in Sage Business Cloud Payroll. This feature will enable you to connect to HMRC and retrieve the following notice types:
P9 - notice of a change to an employee’s tax code
P6 - notice of a change to an employee’s tax code, and year to date pay and tax values
NOT - notice which advises of the correct employees NI number to use
In the coming months we are aiming to extend this feature to also include the ability to retrieve Student Loan and Post Graduate Loan notices.
